The Director, Brand Strategy, will drive incremental brand and business value for HP by building a vibrant, differentiated and relevant global brand idea that resonates across HP's diverse customer and business segments, while also being distinct and having global cultural impact. Client Management:
Build relationships with clients (leadership, decision makers and project management) to ensure a productive and collaborative experience consistent with company goals and values.
Lead major meetings, work sessions, and initiatives as it pertains to accomplishing client or project objectives.
Manage daily activity of relationship including client expectations, schedules, client approvals and financial terms.
Identify (new opportunities with existing or prospective clients) as well as and participate (needs assessments, proposal writing, presentations, etc.) in business development process to develop new, and extend existing, client relationships as needed.
Manage the flow of information between individual team members and key client team members.
Travel as needed.
Project Management/Internal Team Leadership and Oversight:
Responsible for leadership of internal teams including knowledge transfer, meetings, scheduling, deliverables and budgeting to ensure every team member fully understands their role, project ob-jectives, budget parameters and deliverables.
Develop work plans, schedules, budgets and staffing plan for projects.
Collaborate with creative and technology teams to identify all resources needed to successfully complete project and assign individual tasks appropriately.
Continually evaluate and manage the quality, profitability, staffing, deliverables and timeliness for each project and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
Proactively keep interactive practice directors abreast of project timelines, workload issues and progress toward project goals.
Ensure all aspects of client relationship from inception to completion have been delivered upon and properly documented.
Management and maintenance of client extranets.
Strategic Consulting:
Develop a deep and foundational understanding of the client's business, brand, competitive and industry imperatives to successfully craft the most appropriate online experience.
Working with interactive practice directors, conceive and succinctly articulate a clear and compel-ling online strategy that address the clients business, brand, competitive and industry imperatives.
Oversee the execution of those strategies to ensure they stay focused on addressing the imperatives and metrics.
Proactively keep abreast of industry best practices and enhance knowledge of all internal consulting disciplines.
Contribute to the knowledge management intellectual capital process.
Required Skills/Experience
5+ years experience in an interactive design, consulting or advertising firm with multi-industry clients.
Undergraduate degree (B.A.) from a four year college or university
Advanced degree (MBA) preferred
Strong leadership, communication, personnel management, presentation and organizational skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Proven experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
Strategic insight and analysis

Cultivate new relationships with established and emerging companies in key West Coast markets. Deploy direct selling tactics to generate new leads (target mailings, cold calling, etc.)

10 to 15 years of solutions based sales. Candidates should have experience selling into a vertical industry (New media, high-tech, telecommunications, entertainment etc.)
